| General Information |
I'm kind of a strange rarity. I consider myself pretty
well-balanced and mature, but I still laugh my ass off at
Superbad. I've experienced incredible success as a small
business owner and had some crushing losses. I can hold my
own in a conversation about the finer points of Murakami and
Kundera, but I'm still a diehard King fan and general
consumer of schlocky pulp fiction. And we're not even
getting into music here...
I love to travel to new places
and feel the excitement of discovery. In the past few
years, I've been to Paris (twice!), Rome, Milan, Dublin,
Novasibirsk (Russia), Cairo, and Guatemala City. Those are
the far ones; I'm skipping over all the stuff that borders
the USA.
If you're too afraid to just get out and
explore places like that, then I'm not the one for you. If
you're just a little bit afraid, but you like the thrill,
then we're on the same page. |

| Appearance |
I have a good, healthy build. I'd wager average-to-low body
fat, with higher endurance than a too-skinny guy my size.
Right now, my hair is short and I'm experimenting with a
menacing goatee. Jury is still out on whether it
stays.
I dress like a (relatively) normal denizen of
Capitola. Casual t-shirts from like Express or Banana.
Jeans, sometimes with a hole or two; sometimes cool brown
pants. Flip flops. I clean up well when the occasion calls
for it and I'm comfortable in a suit. I am, however, not
too keen on clothes with slogans or advertisements for
products. That's just not how I roll. |

| Looking for |
I'm looking for a person to take out on some dates and build
a relationship with. You don't start out looking for
marriage or a long-term thing: it happens on its own.
Having said that, long-term is my end goal. But sometimes
things grow that way, sometimes they don't. I'm not going
to force things one way or another - that ruins the fun and
life is about fun.
I'm not too picky on appearance, but
there has to be some spark or we won't go far. I take care
of myself and I'll have a hard time respecting you if you
don't respect yourself as well.
Personality, who knows?
I like thinkers, I like dreamers, I like goal-chasers, I
like procrastinators. Just don't do drugs, that's a
deal-breaker.
I live in Capitola, just outside Santa
Cruz. But driving is cake around here, so if you're cool
enough, chances are you're close enough as well. |
