General Information

I am a sucker for a cute smile. "Let's go" is the first
thing off my lips when someone suggests a new travel
destination. I tend to arrive early rather than late, I am a
gentleman, and my friends tell me I have a
clever/smart/sarcastic sense of humor. I've been in the Bay
Area for almost two years and I feel this is the place for
me. Growing up in a landlocked country must have fueled my
desire to be near the sea and I recently fell in love with
sailing. I took classical and jazz piano lessons, learned to
play guitar a bit, studied some Norwegian and French, and
traveled extensively. I don't play games; well, except for
pool, poker, and an occasional round of rock-paper-scissors.
I frequently ask "what if?" and "why not?". I like simple
pleasures of reading, conversation, and listening to people
attempt to pronounce my last name. I've done a lot and want
to do a lot more: learn Japanese and Spanish, practice more
photography, learn something about wine, try hang-gliding,
go to Galapagos Islands and Nepal, and maybe take up shaving
foam sculpture.
