General Information

Even though its hard to boil a person down to a few lines, I
will try. I am generally responsible and reliable, but can
be playful and silly. Doing the right thing in life is
important to me. I'm intellectually curious and love
discussing a wide range of subjects. I like people, kids
and animals, especially dogs. Learning formally and
informally from people and life are important to me, so I
try to be flexible and open to new ideas. I enjoy tennis,
hiking, walking, swimming, gardening, sky watching and being
outdoors in general. In doors, I enjoy watching football
and tennis, cooking, time with friends and family and a good
discussion on almost any topic. I'm an electrical
engineer and work from home which provides great flexibility
how I spend my day.

Appearance

Most people think I am thin, but I weigh the same as I did
in college. I try to keep in good shape by exercising:
weights, walking, tennis, etc. I still have a lot of
hair, but the gray is slowly winning the battle. Best
features? That's a tough one. I'm not used to
complimenting myself. Working at home leads to pretty
casual dress, but I have suits and many ties waiting for
occasions to come out.

Looking for

I'm looking for someone substantial with a good nature.
Strong morals, sensibility, intelligence and a nice smile
count more to me than outer beauty (although I do appreciate
beauty). Honest communication and flexibility are
important. I hope to find someone to go on simple local
trips more than around the world treks, although I have
enjoyed traveling to Europe and Japan. Nature is more
appealing to me than hotels. We could cook (I've been the
cook for several years now) and enjoy a meal, discus the
world, swim or walk around the neighborhood and watch a
movie. Away from home, dining out, the museum, a hike, a
concert or a movie, a trip to the ocean or a park would be
good activities.
